"Don't worry--I am with you. Don't be afraid--I am your God. I will make you strong and help you. I will support you with my right hand that brings victory." - Isaiah 41:10 ERV
Are you going through a season where you feel like you have no strength or energy to keep going?
Have you lost everything and have no idea to how you're going to get it all back?
Are you doing all that you can, but somehow can't get above ground?
I am here to tell you that you're not falling--God is holding you up.
I am a person who has experienced all of those things. The constant start overs, not knowing how certain bills are going to get paid, repossessions, working multiple jobs, and not being able to get assistance.
If nobody else in this world understand the struggles, I do.
Being a single mother made those experiences so much more painful to go through, because my children are watching everything and the last thing I wanted was for them to witness my hardships. I became burdened, exhausted, hopeless, and depressed; it felt like there was no getting ahead of the storm. During that time, I didn't have a relationship with God, had no knowledge of His Word, and wasn't connected to a church so I was unaware of the resources I truly had.
When you get to know God and His Word you will begin to understand that there is only so much you can do in your own strength, you need God to do the part you can't do. When you don't have the strength or energy to keep going, connect to the source in prayer or scripture, and He will strengthen you. When you have lost everything and have no clue to how to get it back, read the story about Job in the Bible, he was a faithful man who lost everything-- wealth, health, family, and status but God restored Him and doubled his blessings; pray and have faith like Job. When you are feeling like you can't get above water, know that Jesus walked on water and parted the Red Sea, so pulling you out is not a hard task for Him to accomplish.
That's what Isaiah 41:10 is reminding us, God is saying; No matter the hardship, the loss, or the lack of strength you are experiencing; Do not be afraid because I am right beside you, I am your God--your Father, who will give you the strength to overcome what you're facing, I am holding you in my strongest and most powerful hand so that you won't fall and remain safe.
God loves us so much, he allows trials and tribulations because that's what build our character and sometimes tests our faith in Him. And even in that, He doesn't leave us to fend for ourselves, there is always a lesson that is learned from our experiences which turn into testimonies about how we overcame with the help of God. He will always get the glory at the end of it.
I pray that this post blesses you on today, and if you know someone who is going through a difficult time right now; I encourage you to share this post with them. :)
